Poland is situated in the centre of Europe. It's bordered by
Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ukraine, Belarus,
Lithuania, Russianfield and the Baltic Sea. The longest river
is the Vistula.
966 – christianisation – first ruler Mieszko I
1410 – battle of Grunwald
1597 – the capital city moved from Cracow to Warsaw
1764 – Stanisław August Poniatowski was elected as last king
1772 – first partition of Poland
1791 – Constituton of May 3
1793 – second partition of Poland
1795 – third and last partition of Poland
1918 – Poland regained its independence
1980 - formation of the trade union "Solidarność"

National parks of Poland
There are 23 national parks in Poland.

The oldest Polish national park is Białowieski, the newest is Ujście
Warty, the largest is Biebrzański and the smallest is Ojcowski.
Kampinowski National Park is the closest one to us.
