Natalie H. DianaSenior Counsel, Office of Chief Counsel, U.S Department of the TreasuryNATALIE DIANA currently serves as Senior Counsel for the U.S. Treasury Department’s FinancialManagement Service. She specializes in banking, financial services and payments law, with particularexpertise in electronic payment systems and emerging payment technologies. Ms. Diana provides legaladvice and support for Treasury’s use and development of both proprietary and commercial paymentsystems to collect funds and make payments. Her responsibilities include drafting regulations andlegislation and providing legal support for Treasury’s payment initiatives, including the Direct Express®prepaid card program. Prior to joining Treasury in 1997, Ms. Diana was in private practice with theWashington, D.C. offices of Morrison & Foerster LLP and Sidley Austin LLP. She received her B.A. fromDartmouth College and her J.D. from New York University School of Law.
