By this summer, ATX plans tohave a total staff of over 90 personnel.According to ATX President Steve Willett, ATX Forms sees an opportunity to morethan double its total sales next year. Willett notes that achieving this goalwill be dependent upon the firms ability to attract qualified designers andprogrammers to the Fort Pierce division.Commenting on the decision to increase the Forms Programming and Design staff atthe Fort Pierce facility, Willett says, “Every year, we program more and moreforms.” “This year, we programmed around 4500 forms and next year that numbercould easily reach 12,000 forms.” “Those kinds of numbers mean a need for morepeople and a need for more space.”To facilitate ATX in reaching their growth target, they will also be buildinganother facility in Fort Pierce. “By the summer we will have a new building with6 wings and over 100 officers here in Fort Pierce,” says Willett. “We have madea commitment to our customers, to the community, and we believe we have made theright decision to stay in Fort Pierce.”This past year, ATX--whose headquarters are located in Caribou, Maine--wasrecognized for the second consecutive year by Inc. Magazine as one of the 500fastest-growing privately held companies in America. There are over 350,000 taxpreparers in America, ranging from part-time income tax preparers to majoraccounting firms. The current focus of ATX Forms, Inc. is the development ofprofessional tax software.
