In 1983 he earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering with honors and in 1988 a MS in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), Worcester, MA. In 1994 Mark founded CFD Associates, a computational fluid dynamics firm consulting widely in cavitation and CFD. In 2002 Mark founded NanoSpire, Inc. Clients included DuPont, Estee Lauder and many other companies involved in mixing and cavitation dispersion. Mark was a Sr. Research Engineer in the Fluid Mechanics Group for Lockheed Missiles and Space Co., Sunnyvale, CA, responsible for hydrodynamic and CFD analysis of cavitation and supercavitation during the underwater launch performance of the Trident I & II missiles.
