participation in the Microsoft SaaS Incubation Center Program
Singapore, 22 June 2007 – Nothacker, a pioneering Singapore-based Software as a
Service (SaaS) provider and Agency for Science, Technology and Research
(A*STAR) spin-off company, has officially signed up as a Service Provider Licensing
Program (SPLA) partner of Microsoft to offer SaaS solutions in the Asia Pacific
market. Nothacker is also actively pursuing the next stage of their relationship with
Microsoft to become one of the first ISVs in the Asia Pacific region to participate in
the SaaS Incubation Center Program.
Nothacker will deploy Microsoft Solution for Windows-based Hosting for
Applications, which will equip the company with techniques and best practices to

Nothacker’s LiveSME raises enterprise productivity by automating business
operations from payroll to customer order administration. It helps customers decrease
the time spent on manual operations and automates organisational workflow, thereby
increasing a company’s business capacity and value.
Powered by Microsoft Solution for Windows-based Hosting for Applications and
advanced text analytics and security technologies from A*STAR, and coupled with
the business benefits that LiveSME brings, Nothacker sets to make SaaS a ubiquitous
yet secure way of business that boosts productivity.
“Our value proposition to our clients is grounded on Microsoft’s tested platforms that
drive innovation, and A*STAR’s advanced infocomm research and development.
These anchors allow us to design and develop exciting Software-as-a-Service
solutions for the business community”, said Mr Lim Chinn Hwa, the Managing
Director of Nothacker Pte Ltd.
“SaaS is driving the business side of the Web 2.0 revolution, with IDC projecting that
subscription-based software sales revenue is expected to make up a third of the total
software market by 2009. Exploit Technologies works closely with companies like
Nothacker to tap upon A*STAR’s technologies to develop compelling SaaS
applications for the international marketplace”, said Mr Boon Swan Foo, the

access to other resources. We recognise that ISVs need the essential tools and
resources to adopt the SaaS business model and we are making them available to them
