To whom it may concern,
I would like to take the time to give my utmost respect to Mr. Randy Carpenter. As the Maximo
Administrator for Northern Afghanistan, I worked with Mr. Carpenter on a daily basis. Mr. Carpenter’s
skills are very broad for any maintenance application. He has dealt with many technical problems in the
system and problems in the maintenance application.
Having directly supervised Mr. Carpenter he has fixed many issues that I personally have
assigned him. He knows how a CMMS system is supposed to be managed and how to utilize the system
to make it beneficial for the business. Mr. Carpenter has realigned the Bagram PM program to a
standard that we are looking at companywide. He has also saved the company a lot of money by
submitting cost avoidance measures on a routine basis.
Mr. Carpenter is also very resourceful at determining any root cause analysis. The great thing
about him is that he has a plan to fix the problems before he submits these reports. He also worked
daily with the technical inspection team to minimize problems in the Maximo process for reporting life,
health, and safety problems. He also worked with the electrical department to train administrative
helpers on the Maximo process. Achieving this helped the department when manpower was low.
I believe that the person who employees Mr. Carpenter will be very pleased with the outcome
of the department he manages. He can work with other departments to repair relationships and build
trust in the workings of the business. He was a valuable person to let go from the Afghanistan project
and will be missed.
