On Hunting Boar collects and presents to boar hunters important information, data and research results related to boar, wild pig and big game hunting in an easy to read and understand style that is free of commercial influences and reader manipulation for the sake of financial spoils. We write with beginning and novice hunters in mind. On Hunting Boar applies a unique viewpoint when possible without engaging in pretentious language, glowing reports on hunting equipment and guides. No floppy hats and theatrical costumes here. The contents of this site are however not limited to boar and big game hunting but also cover other hunting specialties, important legal and regulatory information, environmental viewpoints as well as significant fishing news.

Popular Wild Boar Hunting Tutorials Now in Print
United Seabears, publishers of eBooks on boar hunting, just released printed versions of two tutorials
for aspiring boar hunters, “Signs of the Beast” and “Boar Rifles, Hunting Methods, Shot Placement” by
Peter Jaeckle, Ph.D. on CreateSpace, an Amazon affiliated company. They are part of the series “On
Hunting Boar”. The author introduces beginning and novice boar hunters in simple, easy to understand
terms to the basics of locating and hunting boar. These tutorials were available since the mid-nineties as
eBooks on Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
More than ten years ago Peter Jaeckle authored “Hunting Wild Boar” and the pioneering eBook
“Hunting Boar and Wild Pigs in California and Worldwide”, one of the very first, if not the first, digital
book on hunting. He publishes and edits the California Hunting Post, an Internet hunting magazine
dedicated to big game hunting, wildlife protection and related environmental questions.
