Turnitin keeps it to First Name and Last
name, as a matter of international
There is no room for Sir Name, Middle
Name, or extended Third Name, also no
Prefer a stylish spelling, Cyma for Saima
Prefer to use first name only, Khalil-ullah
for Khalil-Ullah Safi
Prefer using full-fledge names, Syed Sajjad
Ali Shah for Sajjad Ali
Prefer Spelling for their names, Rasul for
In Turnitin processing, students submit their
soft copies, and the following are the
problems for them
Turnitin can not differentiate a student from
the other with the same name
Turnitin can not find out that the “Ahmed”
only in First Submission, is actually “Ahmed
Ali’ in second submission, or vice versa
The name once entered in Turnitin against a
document, CAN NOT BE EDITTED.
Force the students to stick to the Spellings
and Size of their Names mentioned on their
university registration slip or card.
There are rarely students with a Single Name.
All submitted soft copies should be matched
with a nominal roll list, by thesis collector.
All Second Attempt submissions should be
carrying the same name spellings and size, as
provided in First Attempt
