He is the Founder & Executive Director of boutique M & A Firm Lincoln Crowne & Company and has in recent years alone, been entrusted to lead corporate transactions with a value of in excess of AUD $1.1 billion. A regular conference speaker, Nicholas’ is a sought after thinker in the areas of Strategy Development & Execution, Complex Negotiation and Corporate Deal Structuring & Valuation. Nicholas’ approach to social responsibility has been focussed on the rights of children in under developed countries, particularly in the Asia Pacific region where LCC conducts a portion of its work. Nicholas has worked with charities to develop specific programmes, including essential education support (reading and mathematics) and also to rehabilitate children that have been subjected to child labour practices. More recently Nicholas has concentrated his philanthropic attention in Australia by raising awareness for Alopecia Areata, as he personally suffers from an extreme variant of the condition (Alopecia Universalis). Nicholas established basic working partnerships with various organisations including Variety, the Children’s Charity, Alopecia Areata Australia Foundation (AAAF) and the 12ft Skiff Association aiming to build awareness. His latest area of attention is cyberbullying and cyberslander and its associated self-harm impact, resulting from extreme depression, on both youth and adults alike. An alarming issue that faces all global citizens in today’s digitally connected world. Nicholas believes in collaboration between the philanthropic sector, government, corporates and community groups, in order to develop leverage & impact in a highly fragmented area where considerable financial and intellectual resource is invested sub optimally.
