Facility includes more than 50 miles of above/below ground piping within 3,200 acre site, hydrocarbon compressors and pumps, ethylene and propylene drying towers, 13 hydrocarbon storage caverns, 15 brine mining wells, benzene stripper, and 4 flares. Daily production averages 18,000 gallons of brine and 15,000,000 pounds of hydrocarbons (ethylene, propylene, LPG, naphtha, propane, methane) exported to commercial plants or stored within a cavern. Primary focus is the coordination of operations/assets to minimize downtime while maximizing the completion of work and maintaining daily production requirements. This requires the daily and long term planning of turn around activities, EHS requirements, governmental compliances, and production of downstream/upstream partners. Driver of $30MM operational budget and key team member for $45MM capital project team. Primary contributor for the EHS for the site which has zero OHSA recordables and zero LOPCs within the past two years. Facilitator for the development of new and existing team members. Senior Cavern Engineer Cavern Engineer focused on developing scope of work and schedule for cavern and wellhead workovers and turnarounds, developing and tracking budget ($2MM per workover with yearly average of 10 – 15), performing state required Mechanical Integrity Test, maintaining internal compliance documentation and with appropriate governmental reporting agencies, and development of scheduled services system for wellhead maintenance. Senior Storage Engineer Storage Engineer focused on the technical operations of storing and exporting hydrocarbons, planning and execution of integrity management activities, and special projects to optimize operations. Duties include day-to-day support of operations of multi-location manufacturing operation, process simulation, test method development and qualification, scheduling of production and order fulfillment, raw material substitution and qualification, and training of personnel. • Decrease unit cost by 7.5% and increase OEE by 14% by improving process control systems. • Increase rolling throughput yield by 12% by leading projects that link quality parameters to process conditions and raw material properties. 3M Communication Markets and OHES Division – Austin, TX Senior Process/Product/Project/Quality Engineer and Production Team Leader Processes include new product development and commercialization, transfer of manufacturing operation from acquisition to internal manufacturing location, raw material and outsource manufacturing qualification, plastic injection molding, high pressure coining and stamping, automated and manual hardgoods assembly.
