Administrative Assistant, Cloudy Bay Vineyards Ltd. Cloudy Bay is a premium winery in the
Marlborough region of New Zealand, and is an integral part of Estates and Wines business unit of Moet
Hennessey Louis Vuitton. The winery has played an important pioneering role in establishing New
Zealand’s and Marlborough’s reputation. My role is to manage the implementation of the parent company’s
OH&S initiatives in a seamless and transparent way, to ensure both reputation and safety are retained.
This role is highly dependent on my ability to communicate effectively with both internal stakeholders and
external stakeholders, including the various Vineyard representatives. This communication could take the
form of verbal or written, and requires succinct and articulate correspondence. The importance of building
stakeholder relationships is paramount to the success of this role.
The implementation of effective OH&S process and procedures requires the ability to collect and collate the
appropriate data required for individual forms (ranging from Chemical Risk Assessments to Workplac e
Traffic Assessment to Plant Risk Assessment, to name a few), to ensure accurate data assessment and
reporting is maintained, to meet the legislative requirements.
This position requires me to work autonomously at times and maintain the professional reputation of the
Cloudy Bay organisation.
Travelling(Jul – Oct 2014)
During this period I travelled extensively throughout Europe and Asia, as I navigated my way back to my
home country of New Zealand. I used my experience in budget management, communication and
interpersonal skills to fund and manage a three month sojourn around most of Western and Eastern Europe
and a small part of Asia. During this period I met people from all walks of life and of various ages, and
experienced a variety of histories and cultures, which will no doubt be advantageous in my new work

Office Administration, Tay Associates Limited. Tay Associates Recruitment offers employment
solutions for companies operating within Central London. They have a reputation for providing quality
candidates, who are reliable and multi skilled. As a visitor to the UK on a 2 year working visa I was fortunate
to have had the opportunity to be placed with a number of Blue Chip Organisations including:
Wood Mackenzie - a global energy, metals and mining research consultancy group.
Ares Asset Management – a leading global alternative asset manager.
MWB Business Exchange – provides business solutions for businesses from ‘start up’ to SME to
Royal London – is a specialist financial service provider and is the largest mutual insurer in the UK.
These roles called for flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, meeting coordination experience and the
ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors.
The highlight of this period was an extremely valuable 9 month opportunity to work in the Company
Secretary Team of Royal London. This provided me the opportunity to experience first hand the
coordination and planning required for the conduct of an AGM by a superior organisation. The requirement
for confidentiality and administrative support efficiency, were skills recognised in me by Tay Associates.
Travelling (Jul- Sep 2012)
Two months spent travelling around Western Europe and establishing a home base in London.
Food and Beverage Supervisor (Aug 2011 – Jul 2012)
Hamilton Island Enterprises. Hamilton Island is the largest inhabited island of the Whitsundays,
holding five resorts offering accommodation for up to 3,500 guests at any one time. My role as Food and
Beverage Supervisor was one of the primary points of contact for both staff and customers. Customer
Service was an integral part of my role, and the handling of customer complaints and concerns required my
diplomacy, empathy and positive action. The supervision of a five man team required me to be a good role
model, ensure fairness in task allocation and allocate regular breaks for effective staff output.
The duties expected of a Supervisor at the end of shift included effective stock control, with timely stock
ordering, and precise financial accounting of the days takings.
It was whilst holding this position that I received the ‘Hamilton Island Enterprises Eminence Award for
