Responsibilities I wrote online help for store managers using MadCap Flare for over 1200 stores in 3 countries. The online help topics focused on the tasks performed by Store Managers and Text Managers. My work also included producing Quick Reference Guides for Smart Technology for the Follett Headquarters, for which I won a Merit Award from the Society for Technical Communication. I also created You Tube style videos to demonstrate various hardware installations. Accomplishments During my time at Follett I converted lengthy printed manuals and guides to context sensitive online help, saving the company thousands of dollars yearly in printing and paper costs. I used this to create dynamic forms, where if you click one field, other fields will become visible. This makes complicated forms less daunting by having fields only appear when they are needed, depending on the parameters selected.
