Projects/scope of work:
a) Oversee 10MWp grid-connected Solar PV Power Plant, Za’atari Refugee’s Camp – Jordan.
b) Take part in design of distribution grid inside the camp (LV and MV).
c) Oversee the Installation, maintenance and repair of electrical power installations (low and high
voltage) including generators, transformers, new connections...
d) Develop and oversee energy strategy of the camp for the coming 2 years.
e) Develop various solutions for partners inside the camp to provide them with their own source of
electricity (installation of transformer, use of renewable energy; solar PV, wind turbines …)
f) Provide energy related solutions to different UNHCR offices (design of electrical systems for new
locations, solve electricity related problems, suggest cost effective solutions to save energy …)
g) Provide energy related solutions to other Partners and IPs (renewable energy based solutions, sizing
of generators, design of electrical system ….)
