Initially promoted to Mechanical Maintenance & Maintenance Planning Engineer and then the senior role in 2014 with
identical responsibilities. This was a broad role, responsible for leading a team of Engineers and Technicians to plan and
deliver preventative and breakdown maintenance on rotating and static mechanical equipment for a 24/7 Oil, Gas and LPG
Processing Plant. The role involved maintenance planning, CAPEX / OPEX project management and shutdown planning.
Leadership and coordination of the team to complete all maintenance activities, improve equipment reliability and
reduce breakdowns. Focused on continuous improvement of processes and equipment performance, whilst reducing

analysis and calculate cost to maintain and reliability to prepare lifecycle costing for all new equipment for approval.
Conduct root cause analysis on major and recurring issues, identify and assess possible rectification measures to
implement the most cost effective and reliable solution.
Conduct HAZOP studies and value-engineering studies to ensure safety, performance and reliability of equipment.
Develop WBS, SD/Start-up Plan, determine Critical Path, Schedule Baseline, TA reports, S-Curves, Look-ahead, Schedule
Slippage, analyze constraints and recommend solutions.
Prepare Master TA Schedule and monitor progress through Primavera P6 and MS excel.
Preparation of technical drawings using AutoCAD for civil and mechanical plant enhancements.
Manage third party agreements and supervise all work conducted on site to ensure performance in accordance with

As Plant Safety Team Leader, responsible for incident management which includes assessing incidents and equipment
damage, isolating incidents and developing remedial actions to ensure safety and minimise losses.
Planned, supervised and successfully managed six annual shutdowns with collective budget of more than USD $10m.

water between the ponds in the facility, ASME B31.8 for gas and oil transmission.
Planned MGP De-bottlenecking study, prepared project plan and supervised and managed activities through to testing
and commissioning in collaboration with process engineering for enhancing the production of plant.
Identified high exhaust gas temperatures from engines that could be diverted and used to heat water for the chillers.
Conceptualised the idea and developed and project managed the technical solution.
Identified air filters were extracting water which was causing them to fail after a few weeks. Modified the exhaust system
and diverted the lines to save inventory costs.
Optimised usage of lube oil at process gas conversion station engines, two pieces of equipment were using shared lines
but did not both need the same premium lube brand, separated these lines which optimised consumption and saved
Recommissioned an Air Compressor which was out of commission for three years due to unresolved faults. Negotiated
with the OEM to source spares and commissioned back into service.
