I am a fourth year student in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Materials. I am currently assisting a professor in materials research, with a focus on testing titanium alloys for strength and durability. I am also the project leader for my Capstone - The Vibro-Wind Generator, which requires our team of seven to design, simulate, and manufacture a device in seven months that can produce electricity from the wind using Piezoelectric Transducers. I have previously worked as an HVAC and technical intern for Construction companies in India. Over the course of three years, I have also worked on several research projects at the University of Windsor, mainly in the field of materials. I will be graduating with a B.A.Sc in Mechanical Engineering (materials minor) in October 2015, and I am currently looking out for jobs, particularly in the materials engineering or energy sector.
