COUTURE FASHION BRAND DEBUTS IN TIME FOR A CURE
LECARINGTON INTERNATIONAL: New York, NY | An innovative,
philanthropic couture brand on a global mission to end childhood diseases.
THE BRAND: The couture fashion brands in handbags vary between minaudière
evening bags and larger day bags. LeCarington was conceived to fill a notable void
by bridging that gap. “From boardroom to ballroom, you no longer need an escort to
carry your extras,” explains Ms. Carington.
Timeless silhouettes are the canvases which display the artists’ creations of wearable
art. Each piece displays jewel encrusted, hand-carved, sculpted castings on a backdrop
of custom embroidered leathers, furs, and pony herons - all stitched with precision.
LeCarington combines old Hollywood glamour with a modern day twist.
LeCarington’s art pieces are limited editions, which enable the brand to remain
unique while still residing next to their couture peers. The artist validates the
originality of each piece with an embossed signed certificate of authenticity.

THE ARTIST: LeCarington was founded by Artist/Founder Lexi Brant
Carington. Her background in architectural interior design influenced taking her
vision from luxurious estate homes to the runway by transforming art on a wall of
a home to that on a woman’s body. Ms. Carington’s philosophy is to continually
reinvent herself by creating art forms not yet seen in the fashion world. To
establish the uniqueness of the brand, Ms. Carington placed an “E” on the end of
the word art to identify LeCarington “ARTE” Handbags. “I don’t define myself
as a designer but rather an artist. Designer’s define rules while artist’s break them.
As an artist, I try to create the unimaginable and conceptualize how to bring that
vision to life,” states Ms. Carington.
THE MISSION: The driving force behind the LeCarington brand is Ms.
Carington’s incredible life journey. It is without coincidence that the word
“Caring” is strategically positioned in the middle of the brand name.
The LeCarington brand represents the light of hope for children around the
world affected from life threatening illnesses. This year LeCarington has
partnered with The CAID Foundation (Childhood Auto-inflammatory Diseases).
Proceeds from every ARTE Handbag will be donated to The CAID Foundation
where the cure is on the horizon.
