EpicVue Named Latest ATA Featured Product Company
Arlington, Va. – Today, American Trucking Associations announced it has selected
EpicVue as the newest ATA Featured Product company.
“With so many truck drivers spending weeks away from their homes and families, ensuring a
good quality of life for them is so very important,” said ATA President and CEO Bill
Graves. “Television fulfills a human need for connection and we are thrilled to welcome
EpicVue as a Featured Product company for our members.”
The EpicVue service for fleets brings more than 100 channels of DIRECTV
programming including premium channels such as HBO, Cinemax, Showtime and NFL
Sunday Ticket into the comfort of a driver’s sleeper for a monthly subscription fee and
without any upfront hardware costs. Included in the EpicVue package is a 24” flat screen
TV, a DVR, an off-air antenna used to pick up local channels and an EpicVue designed
and manufactured ruggedized satellite antenna for the rear or top of the cab.
“The need to address the driver quality of life cannot be understated, and we are excited
to be selected as an ATA Featured Product,” said Lance Platt, CEO for EpicVue.
“While the power of television is something most of us take for granted, it is proving to
be a powerful influence in not only improving the quality of life for today's drivers, but it
is also having a significant influence in attracting a new generation of drivers to the
industry. Seeing the reaction from drivers who get to experience this is very rewarding,
and it is encouraging to be a part of providing at least one piece to the driver lifestyle
Salt Lake City-based EpicVue was formed by individuals with years of combined experience
in the satellite and television industries. The company offers a TV viewing package
specifically designed for commercial fleets. Used as a tool to assist with recruiting, retaining
and improving driver quality of life, the EpicVue package brings more than 100 channels of
DIRECTV programming, including premium channels such as HBO/Cinemax, SHOWTIME
and the NFL Sunday Ticket, into the comfort of a driver’s sleeper for a monthly subscription
fee and without any upfront hardware costs. For more information, visit www.epicvue.com.
