National Celebration of Pro Bono week asserts that justice isonly a lofty ideal. Throughout the week, the ABA hopes torecognize those who have undertaken and been affected bypro bono endeavors as well as encourage others to participate.
You do not have to be an attorney to take part in NationalCelebration of Pro Bono week, but attorneys should consideroffering clinics or Continuing Legal Education programs.There are plenty of other ways to get involved, such ashosting fundraising events or award ceremonies. The point isto bring awareness to pro bono efforts and to workcollaboratively to strengthen local communities.
