The line will also be availableon www.betseyjohnson.com and www.crayola.com.The partnership came about during Fall 2010 Fashion Week when arepresentative for Crayola approached the Betsey Johnson brand about aclothing collaboration for children. At the time, Betsey was trying to expand herperfume and body products; she therefore suggested a makeup line instead tohighlight the colors of Crayola into the Betsey Johnson brand.The BJ loves Crayola line features non-toxic lip-gloss, peel off nail polish,eyeshadow, blush, perfume, and body spray all with Crayola crayon names andscents. The products are ideally for children ages eight to 12 and will be light incolor and easy to remove. Betsey Johnson, known for her vibrant fashion designssays, “I love color and I love makeup. When Crayola approached us about doinga collaboration for kids, I screamed I was so excited! I have two grandchildrenand I know they are going to flip over this fun makeup line”.BJ loves Crayola is inspired by the crayon names such as bittersweet, carnationpink, jazzberry jam, mango tango, and pink sherbert just to name a few.
