Iva Cvjetićanin, diplomirani student FEFA, trenutno se nalazi na master studijama u Lundu, Svedskoj, kao stipendista Svedskog Instituta, gde je završila prvu godinu i odbranila master rad. Izdavačka akademija Lambert izabrala je da objavi njen rad u vidu knjige pod nazivom "Japanski model visokog rasta i preobražaja" i time odala priznanje kvalitetu naučno-istraživačkog rada naše alumne.

Remarkable success of Japanese economy after WWII has been anintriguing topic for many researchers. In relation to the theory andprevious research this study proposes a different explanatory model ofJapanese growth after WWII. The model proposed here relies upon acontribution of two key features of the Japanese economy- subcontractingas a type of organizational form of conglomerates and industrial policythat represents government-business relations. This paper further exploreswhen and in what direction this proposed model was transforming. Thisstudy will provide the reader with a different view on the Japanese modelof economic growth. By analyzing the evolution of subcontracting andindustrial policy after the WWII up to present times this study willdemonstrate current trends in the model. It will also throw light on whatactions Japan is taking to adjust to a volatile economic surrounding.
