March 10, 2011Contact: Francine Thompson 770-899-2495 Bob Rappley 770-527-3019 John Cagle 404-717-4348 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE TH 190 MP CO WELCOME HOME CELEBRATION AND CEREMONY April 3, 2011Join us in celebrating the Homecoming of the 190th MP CO, Soldiers who have just finished a 1 year tour inAfghanistan.The 190th MP CO Soldiers will gather at the Kennesaw Armory located at 1901 McCollum Parkway, Kennesaw,GA. at 7:30am on Sunday April 3, 2011. The Soldiers will board the buses, provided free of charge by His MajestyCoach, and will be escorted by the American Legion Riders, Warriors Watch and the Patriot Guard Riders to theAmerican Legion Post 111 located at 2587 Scoggins Road, Dallas, GA. The convoy of Soldiers will start at 8am.Please come out and show your support by lining the streets, with flags in hand, to our Soldiers who were fightingfor OUR FREEDOM!!!!The route of the convoy is as follows; 41 North to Highway 92 South to Business 6 to the 120 Connecter toScoggins Road.At the American Legion the 190th MP CO will be presented with a Homecoming Ceremony. Speakers andpresenters will include Congressman Phil Gingrey, Maj. Gen. Britt, and other dignitaries. Following the Ceremony,the Soldiers, their families and guests can participate in a FUN FILLED DAY with food, activities for the kids andeven Karaoke provided free of charge by Starlite Entertainment. All of the festivities have been provided free ofcharge by many people in the community.Paulding County American Legion Post 111 is extremely honored to host the Homecoming Ceremony for theGeorgia Army National Guard 190th Military Police Company based in Kennesaw, Georgia. Our Legion Family islooking forward to thanking them for their service on a job well done. As we give a warm welcome to them, theirfamilies and their friends, we also extend an invitation to others in our community to come thank them for theirservice and show our support for those courageous men and women standing on the front lines defending ourfreedoms.
