Synopsis:George VI, also known as Bertie, reluctantly takes the throne of Englandwhen his brother, Edward, abdicates in 1936. In the UK and Ireland, the film was the highest earning film on its openingweekend. It took in £3,510,000 from 395 cinemas. The Guardian said that itwas one of the biggest recently, and compared it to Slumdog Millionaire (2008),which, two years earlier, earned £1.5 million less. The Kings Speech lasted 3weeks at the top of the UK Box office, and earned over £3 million for fourconsecutive weekends, the first film to do so since Toy Story 3 (2010)I would expect it to be shown in Romford vue because of what it says above.
