Room 2 have been learning to create a picture in the readers mind by using descriptivelanguage. To fit in with our topic in Term 2, Nathan has written about The Sea.The SeaThe twirly sea is like thunder crashing through theground. It looks like a cat licking its paws. There arethousands of bubbles vanishing into the sand. Thesea is like pieces of paper getting screwed up. Theocean sounds like cymbals crashing and clanging. The glittery sand pulls your feet back and feels likesomeone tickling your feet. The sea looks like a twirlytornado taking a surfboard away. The sea is like awhale splashing its tail. The waves are making acrashing on the sand. The sea is like a cat growlingat you. It’s like a shark jumping for blood and makinga slash.
