FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CONTACT: DeAndre Brown 734-722-5576 Get Employed and Give Back Community Living Services hosts annual Job Fair DEARBORN-July 8, 2015-Community Living Services will host its annual Job Fair Tuesday, October 20, 2015, from 10-12pm at the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center in Dearborn. The Community Living Services Job Fair/Community Participation event will offer individuals the opportunity to connect with employers offering full and part time positions and a chance to learn about volunteer opportunities and community connections. “Our goal is to connect people with disabilities with employment opportunities,” said Public Relations Director, Tiffany Devon. “We stand by our mission of assuring that each member of our community has an equal chance at independence; employment is one way of making this possible.” Various vendors will be on hand to interview prospective employees including those specializing in clerical, custodial, health/beauty, hospitals, food service, grocery, landscaping, office, restaurant and much more. “We are expecting about 200 people to attend this year,” said Devon. “We have many talented and experienced people who want to connect with employers and learn about opportunities; while others are looking for ways to get connected to their communities through volunteer positions.” About Community Living Services CLS is a nonprofit organization providing support and services for children and adults with intellectual and development disabilities and seniors with long term care needs living in Wayne, Oakland and Macomb Counties. CLS is funded by the Detroit Wayne Mental Health Authority, The Oakland County Community Mental Health Authority and Macomb County Community Mental Health. ###
