Transcripts - Poll charts!
After I created my poll I left it for a month then after this
time I found the votes was at a stand still. Therefore I
gathered the information from these 6 questions and
created charts and graphs to show the final results on each
individual question. It visually states the peak and decline in
the answers which where popular and which wasn’t.
Question 1- Shows that more females voted on my poll so this makes all the other
questions more from a females point of view and a females taste and only a couple of votes
from the male eyes.
Question 2-There is only one in age group 20-50 then the rest is in 17-19 and this shows
what age group the answers are coming from as it would be a different perspective if it was
from the other ages.
Question 3- This research shows the majority of the people do watch music videos showing
that music videos are an important element to a song and the music industry.
Question 4- With most votes on the narrative this is good feed back for me as I am
planning and focusing on to have a narrative in my music video.
Question 5- The least votes was on Vevo and this is a new upcoming way to access music
videos and this chart shows its new. Other is the least and this would be what we would
expect. YouTube is the peak answer with it being the most largest and popular way to access
music videos in 21st century. Therefore YouTube would be a good website for me to put my
music video on when its produced. TV is second to top this will be because a lot of house
holds have televisions with Sky or Freeview and these have popular music channels.
Question 6- I would of expected Pop to be the top answer with majority of votes are females
however this stereotype has been broken as most votes are for Indie. Pop and Rock being
the runner’s up. R&B has the least votes. This is a positive out come because Indie is a closer
type of genre to alternative rock in the conventional features of a music video.
