During my industrial placement in a multinational company I developed excellent communication, research, project management skills and so on. I am currently pursuing my master’s degree on chemical engineering at Aalto University. My passion towards chemistry and chemical technologies, process engineering always motivates myself to build my future career and make myself expertise within the field of my study. Now, I am seeking a position in summer for related work in chemical and process engineering with the opportunity to use and develop these gained skills and take them to further level. EDUCATION Masters of Science (Tech.), Aalto University, School of Chemical Technology, Finland (120 ECTS point); 2015- present Programme: Chemical, Biochemical and Materials Engineering Major: Chemical engineering Bachelor of Science (Hons.), University of Huddersfield, School of Applied Sciences, UK (240 ECTS Point); 2010 - 2014 Programme: Chemistry with Chemical Engineering (4 years including industrial placement) Major: Chemistry, Minor: Chemical Engineering International Foundation Programme (A-level equivalent), International Study Centre (University of Huddersfield), UK (120 credits); 2009 - 2010 Programme: International Science, Computing and Engineering Foundation Course WORK EXPERIENCE HMSHost Finland, Vantaa, Finland. (03.09.2012 – 30.08.2013) Position: Undergraduate Industrial Placement Student I have worked as part of the science & feasibility team within the Next Generation Products and Technologies (NGP&T) department, where I have been involved with two different group projects. One of my research study was involved about cigarette paper fibre orientation and its effects on paper physical properties such as thickness, opacity, air-permeability, diffusion capacity, tensile strength etc.. It required cigarette paper manufacturing within the laboratory scale and learned by undertaking training from a paper industry called Wattenspapier, Austria. Also, another commercially important project involved of cigarette prototype designing which is less harmful than conventional cigarettes available in market. I held the position as project manager for both projects which required me to have excellent time management skills to finish projects within time and strong communication skills to communicate with suppliers (Bayreuth, Germany). KEY SKILLS  Organic synthesis, Wet chemistry techniques (colorimetric, gravimetric analysis etc.)  Separation techniques (liquid-liquid extraction, sieve tray distillation, gas absorption etc.)  Data handling and Spectroscopy (NMR, UV-visible, IR and Mass etc.)  Chromatography (HPLC, HPIC, GC-FID, TLC, Column etc.)  Aerosol Particles Measurements instruments such as DMS, SPRAYTEC Sprayer, A14 Syringe Drive Smoking Engine and Electrical Low pressure Impactor (ELPI)  Instrumental analysis (DSC, ISE etc.)  Cigarette paper manufacturing on DHSF and SHSF (Lab scale)  Air permeability, Diffusion capacity, Tensile strength measurements  Project management (PRINCE-2 foundation course) COMPUTER/ SOFTWARE SKILLS Windows (Excellent), Linux (Satisfactory), Mac OS X (Good), Aspen plus 8.6 (Good), MATLAB (Basic), Simulink (Basic), MINITAB-16 (Satisfactory), Microsoft Office Suite (Excellent), Adobe Creative suite (Basic) etc. LANGUAGE SKILLS  Bengali (Native)  English (well verse in written and spoken)  Finnish (Beginner) HOBBIES AND INTERESTS I enjoy taking photographs and keen fan of watching and playing cricket, in which I have taken part in teams at school, BAT Cricket Club and North Baddesley and Ampfield Crusaders Cricket Club.
